Get a credit card online with bad credit?

A friend of mine (Paulette), who doesn't have a job or any income (except, I assume, baby-bonus or some govt. funding for her 6 year old daughter) says she applied for an American Express credit card online, and in spite of bad credit references on her credit report, got the card -- with a $1000 credit limit to boot.

I can only assume it was some kind of mistake.  I mean, her husband works full time earning a good salary and pays the bills/mortgage and they won't give HIM a credit card. Lol.

Paulette says she just applied for the hell of it, next thing she knew, they sent her the card in the mail.

Naturally I asked her what site it was (I figured, she got it, I'm gonna try too!)... she gave me this link: freecardmatrix.com. 

I checked it out and signed up.  The good thing about it is, it allows you to earn money by referring other people to sign up for a credit card, and they pay 10 levels deep.  That is pretty amazing.  Of all the money-making schemes on the internet, this one catches my attention because, who doesn't want a credit card?  Everyone wants one, and everyone wants to earn money.  Their compensation plan is rediculous -- in a good way.

I applied online and didn't pass the 60 second approval, the website said they'd get back to me.  Hopefully in a few days I'll see a shiny new American Express card in the mail!
