New Server #2: 2 x Dual Core Intel Woodcrest 5130

Time to launch the second server. Going with Rippleweb because my current provider, Awknet, is set to move to a new datacenter in mid-May, which I think is already delayed.

So I figured it's a good idea to have two different servers in two different locations.

Here are the specs for the server I'm getting from Rippleweb:

2 x Dual Core Intel Woodcrest 5130 Server (4 cores baby!)
  • - 2 GB DDR2 ECC FB-DIMM RAM
  • - 320 GB SATA 16M Cache HD
  • - 320 GB SATA II 16M Cache HD
  • - 3000 GB Bandwidth
  • - Centos 4.x (wtf is this? Who knows, they don't offer Linux, we'll find out!)
  • - cpanel/whm

    I paid a $299 US setup fee, for a monthly price of $249 US.  My bill today = $549 USD... OUCH!
