PC vs. Mac"Oh my God... DUDE, why the fuck did you buy a Mac?" -- that's the last resort, the final statement I often make when someone asks for my help WHO CANNOT BE HELPED. Albeit, most of the time, the statement is made in my head. If you want to know what kind of computer to buy (Mac vs. PC), you SHOULD HAVE ASKED YOUR FRIENDS or at least talked to real people who know what they're talking about. In a nutshell, if you want versatility, practicality and the ability to run your applications and games whether for personal OR professional use, you SHOULD BE BUYING THE PC. If you're a graphics designer and have a lot of experience in computer animation and the such and with the software that is available, then you already know this area is for the Mac. Generally, if you want to buy a computer, don't fukking buy a Mac. Ask around for confirmation. And please, pleeeease, don't buy a Mac because of those hilariously funny TV commercials that put down the PC. The commercials are funny, but that's where it ends. IT HAS NO MEANING PEOPLE. You know how they say "Everything just kinda works with a Mac." They can SAY IT because there's no legal definition for that statement. BUT IT'S A LIE! It's an advertisement and if you fell for it, and are now running into problems because such-n-such doesn't work on your system now and you need help, then you wasted your money dude! I've worked as a technical support specialist for a few companies and I've come across the person using the Mac who wanted help, many times. Don't know what to tell ya. What can go wrong with a Mac, you ask? That'd require more space and time than this blog would allow, but here are some pointers:
Yet further information about Macs... this youtube video is an ACTUAL TV commercial by Macintosh. If this doesn't convince you to get a PC, I don't know what will. Hehehe...
