Awknet Server Upgraded Today

The old server which runs FreeBSD didn't like Cpanel/WHM.  There were conflicts, the mail didn't work, and the server load was getting pretty high, especially with the spike in hits coming in from Google.

Figured it's time for an upgrade. Talked to Justin at Awknet, he said he could get me a dual core dual 3.74GHz Intel server with 2GB RAM for $300. 

The other problem with the old server was the logs were eating up 160 GB of space, which caused many problem trying to copy over the accounts to the new box.

Finally got the old server logs deleted 'cuz all I care about are the sites loading right.  Transferred the sites using the "Copy multiple accounts" feature in WHM and it worked flawlessly.

This new server is definitely a box on steroids.  Centos Linux 2 X dual core 3.74GHz processors with cpanel and WHM... good combo, just like my Rippleweb server.
