Subway - SKIMPWAY - Rip Off On Meat Slices - More Meat My ASS

I have always loved to get my subs from Subway.  They had better bread, better and more meat, better and more veggies and toppings, etc.. Cost a couple bucks more than Mr. Sub, but it was well worth it.  "Was" being the key word.

It seems for the last several years, whenever I go to a Subway restaurant and order my favourite sub -- a footlong Spicy Italian with double meat and double cheese (I love salami, and I love cheese), I am getting jipped on the meat. 

Why is it, that some locations give me 18 slices of each type of salami (Yes, I count the slices!), some locations give me 16 slices of each type of salami, heck -- one location even gave me 13 slices of salami!! WTF?!  What is going on here.

What kind of quality control does Subway use anyways.  Don't they have those mystery shoppers, that go in and order a sub, undercover Subway Quality Control employees, who check the facility, customer service, food portions, etc etc.?  I know for a fact, they have NO quality control.

One location, attached to Home Depot, always gave me 20 slices of each type of salami, for a grand total of 40 slices.  Now that's a sub with meat.  That is what I paid the extra $$ for.  I fucking hate not getting what I pay for. 

I took matters into my own hands, and wrote to Subway (check their website), asking them how many slices of meat and cheese I SHOULD be getting.  I got a response saying that the double meat, double cheese Spicy Italian sub should come with 40 slices of salami, and 8 slices of cheese.  Like I didn't know that already.  But I wanted confirmation.

Now, when I go to Subway and order the same sub, I am forced to be rude (I am not a rude person by nature) and ASK for the full 40 slices that I am paying for.  They do it.  But with weird looks.  At least I get my sub.

But now we know that there is no quality control with Subway.  We also know that any Subway franchise owner can skimp on portions, food quality, always skimming the amount of meat you should be getting.  I say food quality because on many occasions I even received stale bread -- STALE BREAD AND JIPPED ON MEAT.  They even charged me $12.90 for the stinking sub.  When I asked if the price had gone up, they said no, it's because I asked for double meat and double cheese (the normal price of this sub is actually $10.90 CAD).  So not only did they serve me stale bread, not only did they charge me for double meat and cheese and NOT give me the full double meat and cheese, these fukkers OVER charged me still.  I ate the sub without satisfaction that day. 

That was just one location, but it's 99% of Subway locations (at least in Toronto, Mississauga, and Guelph) that do the SAME RIPOFF STATEGY.

BOTTOM LINE: Subway has NO QUALITY CONTROL, AND THE OWNERS ALWAYS JIP YOU ON THE MEAT.  You have to be downright rude and ask them not to rip you off, just to get your money's worth.
