Rippleweb's Offer Comes Through... NOW you tell me?Figures, I just got a call from Rippleweb's Operations Manager (Raphael) regarding my content inquiry, after discussing my sites with me he says he's ok with my content, and that I can go ahead and place the order. How big a deal is this? This is what Rippleweb was giving me:
So it's a little more powerful with a little more HD space (than Awknet's server, that I already paid for), a bandwidth cap at 2500GB and if I wanted cpanel it's an extra $29/month. I assume the price would be a bit lower if I paid a setup fee. There is protection via a firewall -- how good, I don't know. I think it's not a big deal. With Awknet I get state-of-the-art DDos protection and assurance that my IP will not be nulled in case of an attack (nothing is guaranteed in real life, I know). The technical differences are not too big, so I'm gonna see how Awknet goes and keep the Rippleweb offer on the side, "just in case." Trackback [Previous Page] [Page 45 of 59] [Next Page] |
